Seam collects no data

Seam makes no network connections of its own, contains no analytics or advertising, and sends nothing to us or anyone else. The free trial and the unlock go through the Mac App Store, under Apple's privacy policy.

What Seam keeps on your Mac

Seam stores its settings, your rules, your grids and saved layouts, and a history of the files it moved, so you can undo a move. These stay on your Mac, and macOS removes them when you delete Seam.

Files

Seam moves only the files you drag to it or choose in it, within the folders you give it access to. It doesn't read what's inside your files, doesn't read the clipboard, and never deletes files. If a move would replace a file, the old file goes to the Trash.

Windows

To arrange windows, Seam reads each window's position, size, owning app, and stacking order. It never reads window titles or what windows show. It moves windows through Apple Events, after you allow it for each app, or through a Shortcut you add.

Keyboard

Seam's keyboard shortcuts respond only to the key combinations you set. Seam doesn't monitor your typing.

Support email

When you email support@seamformac.com, Cloudflare passes your message to H Creative's inbox and sends you one automatic reply with a ticket number. Cloudflare doesn't keep the message. We use what you send only to answer you, and we don't share it.
